Co-curricular Activities



Secondary School (2005-2008):

House Vice-Captain
Taking on the role of the Vice-captain in the sports committee of the house, Jaguar, much leadership, initiative and skills was required to run the activities in the house. The role required working with the sports leaders to hold selection for runners for sports day and take charge of the entire house on Sports Day and other events like cross country. It was also my duty to motivate and organise runners in the events.

- 2nd Sergeant for the National Cadet Corps
As a 2nd Sergeant for the National Cadet Corps of Xinmin Secondary School, I have been assigned different roles in camps such as Platoon Sergeant, Head of Logistics and Head of Welfare. These are roles that have developed skills, knowledge and Leadership in me. Apart from the events of the National Cadet Corps, I were sent as usher in events, volunteer to homes and even representative for National Cadet Corps HQ events.



Polytechnic (2009-XXXX)

- BA Society SCO
Taking on as overall group leader for a group in the annual BAOC can be challenging to take on leading and guiding people. This also includes occasional activities to lead and participate in school activities.













- BA Envoys
Taking part in events actively such as parents forum and envoys recruitment drive. These activities expose myself to sharing in crowds and promotional skills.





















- SSC Committee
Camp Commandant for ID Camp
In this committee, it is an experience of trying new things such as leading and organising the Interactive Day Camp. It provides an opportunity to develop leadership, speaking techniques and organisational skills.
